Cookies for the VA Clinic

Veterans_AdministrationOn June 21st, Adjutant Bob Ferrebee delivered two cases of cookies to the VA Outpatient Clinic near Winchester, VA. The cookies will be placed in the waiting room for patients to snack on while waiting for their appointments. Each cases contains over 320 assorted shortbread cookies.

For the past five years, Post 41 has been providing cookies for the clinic. We provide about ten cases of cookies each year. Legionnaire George O’Dell, who volunteers at the clinic, notifies the Adjutant when the cookie supply is low so they can be re-supplied. This is another way Post 41 serves our local veterans.
